Hollywood Diagnosticss Center Performs PET Scans Fast Prior to Exam – On the day of the PET Scan, make sure to fast for 4 hours prior to the examination.Avoid Physical Strain – Don’t do any strenuous activity or cause yourself physical exertion.Avoid carbohydrates, sugar, alcohol, coffee, tea, milk and yogurt.
